Fedra in Private Pleasures

Lavender against blue, satin against lace: Fedra becomes the loveliest contrast in a room softened by the quilted bedding. Her long, straight brown hair parts neatly at the center, revealing faint freckles across her nose and cheeks. She kneels with her hands behind her back, graceful and still, before stretching across the duvet. Fine black bands and little metal rings give her ensemble a graphic flourish, but it's her steady gaze that lends the picture its warmth and depth.
